Styline Logistics, a division of OFS, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Load Planner / Freight Router to develop and execute daily outbound load plans. This position plays a critical role in coordinating freight movements, optimizing route efficiency, and ensuring customer delivery commitments are met.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can balance operational efficiency with customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This individual will work closely with internal teams to coordinate outbound freight, maximize equipment utilization, and develop efficient routing solutions that support the overall success of the operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and execute daily outbound load plans to maximize operational efficiency and service performance.
• Optimize routes by evaluating delivery locations, customer commitments, operating hours, and opportunities to consolidate nearby stops.
• Balance freight efficiency, driver utilization, delivery schedules, and customer expectations when developing load plans.
• Monitor changing freight volumes, priorities, and operational conditions, adjusting load plans as necessary.
• Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary miles, minimize delays and layovers, and improve overall fleet productivity.
• Ensure customer delivery commitments and special shipping requirements are accurately reflected in load plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate communication with dispatch, drivers, customer service, and other internal departments.
• Review planning information and system data for accuracy, completeness, and potential scheduling conflicts.
• Use available transportation management systems and planning tools to support effective decision-making and daily execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on service, efficiency, and overall transportation performance.

• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications and comfort working with internet-based software and data systems.
• Experience with Direct Route and/or Appian is preferred but not required.
